Let the potty training begin!

We decided to tackle the potty training monster with Jack. We went to Target, bought him a special potty, and let him pick out his own underwear (Diego, of course). It's a little slow getting started, but I'm sure it will be an adventure. His big brother loves to be a helper!

Happy Birthday, Aaron!

We were so blessed on Aaron's birthday (the 11th) to be able to spend the entire day together. We went out to the county lake here, enjoyed the beautiful weather and the time together. Aaron got to teach Sam how to skip a rock and while the ducks weren't around to feed, we still had such a wonderful time. We then went to dinner with my family and the kids, of course, had a great time with the camera! Happy 31st birthday, baby!

Metropolis

On our way home from my Dad's, we decided to stop in Metropolis, the home of Superman (Metropolis, Illinois that is!). We got some great pics with Superman and with all the boys posing as Superman, me as Superwoman (or is it Supergirl - I think I'm too old to classify for that title). Michael R., eat your heart out!

The Arch

We took the boys to see the Gateway Arch in St. Louis for the first time ever. They had a great time and while most of the pictures are from the Museum of Westward expansion under the arch, the trip to the top was the best. We forgot to take the camera up there - maybe one of these days I'll figure out how to get the pictures off of Aaron's camera and add them to the slide show! Oh yeah - I didn't go through the museum with them. I had picked up a stomach bug the night before, and after the bumpy ride to the top and back down again, I needed a little quiet time on the bench outside - just me and my Sprite!

Colorado

Okay, so it only took me a month and a half to get back into the blogger swing of things! Here are pictures from our trip to Brandie and Jason's in Firestone, Colorado. Some are from goofing around the house (notice the one of Jason and Aaron frying a turkey - it was yummy!), and some are from the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. At any rate, we had a fabulous time and, as always, wish we could have stayed alot longer!
